COOL AS A CUCUMBER

You may wish to introduce cucumbers when your baby is 8-10 months old. Great as a summer snack, it should not be a main part of your baby's diet as it has a high water content and few nutrients. However, it does contain vitamins A and C as well as calcium and potassium. Be sure to watch if your baby gets fussy after consuming cucumber as it may cause babies to be gassy.

CUCUMBER AND SQUASH

1) Wash and peel cucumber. Remove seeds. Dice.
2) Wash and peel squash. Cut into small cubes.
3) Boil both for about 10 minutes on medium heat.
4) Mash together until you get a strained consistency.
